Design for the renovation and reconfiguration of the main building of the General Hospital of Heraklion “Venizeleio–Pananeio.”
Reconstruction of the Main Building (Old Wing) of the hospital complex, with a total built area of 11,015 m², while the entire complex covers 31,632 m².
An Energy Performance Study was also carried out, classifying the building in Category B+, higher than B, and as a majorly renovated public-use building, it is characterized as a Nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB). The main design principles aimed at energy upgrading include the elimination of fossil fuel use and the integration of renewable energy sources (active solar and photovoltaic systems).
The MEP Design was completed in three phases (2021–2025) and included, among others, tender documents, budgets, and quantity take-offs.
