Reconstruction of the old "Club Med Kos" - Kos

Reconstruction of the old “Club Med Kos” complex in Kefalos – Kos island, to establish a 5-star, 940-beds resort. The resort has one multistory building, bungalows, villas, spa area, seven restaurants, an outdoor theater and sports grounds and pools of ab. 4,000 m2 surface area.

MEP Engineering Design included, besides the design of conventional installations, a water treatment plant of the reverse osmosis method, a waste water treatment plant based on membrane microfiltration, reuse of treated effluent for toilet flash and irrigation, heating of swimming pools via air to water heat pumps, extensive use of recovered heat and hot water production via active solar thermal systems.

The design was carried out in the first half of 2018 and the reconstruction was completed in April 2019. During the construction, the designers carried out supervision tasks. The complex has been in operation since May 2019.
